Turtle Power is returning this summer with the release of New Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, which follows up the unexpectedly successful live-action movie from a couple of years ago. Now a new trailer and another poster for the movie has arrived.

Here’s the synopsis: ‘Michelangelo, Donatello, Leonardo, and Raphael return to cinemas this summer to battle bigger, badder villains, alongside April O’Neil (Megan Fox), Vern Fenwick (Will Arnett), and a newcomer: the hockey-masked vigilante Casey Jones (Stephen Amell). After supervillain Shredder escapes custody, he joins forces with mad scientist Baxter Stockman (Tyler Perry) and two dimwitted henchmen, Bebop (Gary Anthony Williams) and Rocksteady (WWE Superstar Stephen “Sheamus” Farrelly), to unleash a diabolical plan to take over the world. As the Turtles prepare to take on Shredder and his new crew, they find themselves facing an even greater evil with similar intentions: the notorious Krang.’

The heroes in a halfshell return to the live action arena this summer with Out Of The Shadows, and now the film’s Super Bowl spot has arrived, giving us our first glimpse of the villainous Krang. Take a look below.

This time around the turtles and Megan Fox’s April O’Neil are going to be joined by Arrow’s Stephen Amell as hockey-mask wearing vigilante Casey Jones. It has to be said that while the first movie was okay but a bit naff, this looks like it might be pretty cool.

The live-action do-over of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles proved much more successful at the box office than most people expected grossing just under $500 million at the worldwide box office. That ensured Paramount would want a sequel, which will will hit cinemas next summer.

This time around the turtles and Megan Fox’s April O’Neil are going to be joined by Arrow’s Stephen Amell as hockey-mask wearing vigilante Casey Jones. He makes his first appearance in the trailer, which you can take a look at below.

The initial trailer for the first movie was widely derided and made many think the entire thing was a bad idea that should never have been attempted, but this time around the first promo is actually quite fun. Dave Green directs, with a June 2016 release date set.
