After a few years of rather lacklustre Tom Cruise movies, Jack Reacher was a bit of a breath of fresh air – an action movie/thriller that helped remind us why the actor became such a big star in the first place. It’s not too surprising therefore that he’s returning to the character in Never Go Back, which has just released its first trailer.
Here’s the synopsis: ‘Jack Reacher: Never Go Back follows the title character as he returns to Virginia to meet the head of his former unit. But she’s missing, he’s being charged with a crime committed nearly 20 years ago, and he may even have a daughter. Making things right will lead him on a cross-country chase to uncover the truth – and maybe even a family.’

While many disliked the idea of Tom Cruise being cast as Lee Child’s anti-hero, Jack Reacher, the movie itself turned out to be surprisingly good. It was successful enough that a sequel is on its way, which has just released its first teaser.
