It’s still a few months until Carrie is due to debut in cinemas (it’s out in October in the US and November in the UK), but in order to try and get us excited, a motion poster has debuted, which you can take a look at above.
Based on Stephen King’s first novel, the film tells the story of a teenage girl with a tyrannical mother, who gets bullied at school. However she begins to develop telekinetic powers, which come to full fruition on the night of the prom.

There have been big gaps in Kimberley Peirce CV, with her first film, Boys Don’t Cry coming in 1999, then nothing until Stop Loss in 2008 and we’ll getting her latest movie, a remake of Carrie, next year.
