A couple of weeks ago the short film First Kiss – which brought together 20 strangers to document their first snog – went massively viral, being watched by nearly 70 million people. Since then the varnish slightly wore off when it was revealed that it was actually an advert. Some were also slightly annoyed that while straight people and two women were shown passionately locking lips, the two men paired who were paired up couldn’t manage more than a self-conscious chaste peck in a rather ‘no-one-must-think-we’re-gay’ way.

The film has inspired many other to have a go at their own versions – some of them serious and some comic – and now New Zealand safe sex advocacy group ‘Love Your Condom’ has stepped up with a take that promotes responsible nookie, and also redresseses the man-on-man balance by getting 10 guys to kiss for the very first time.

It’s sexy, fun and has a good messages. Plus, there’s no chaste pecking on the lips here. Now we just have to wait for some enterprising porn company to come up with a very NSFW version (and no, that isn’t a suggestion if any porn companies are reading this). [Read more…]

It’s an interesting tactic to make an extended advert for underwear, where nobody actually wears any of the undies (there are plenty of lingering shots of them though). However that’s what Addicted has done with their latest promo,

It may seem odd, but aren’t men out of their undies better than ones in them? That certainly seems to be the thought here, with plenty of hot flesh on display, with everything carefully framed so that while definitely NSFW, nothing too x-rated gets onto the screen!

An awful lot of people who’ve seen Cam Gigandet in the likes of Twilight or Burlesque have wanted to get into his pants. However it turns out Nick Thune is the one getting into his undies, at least in this new poster for the movie Bad Johnson. And Cam doesn’t look too happy about it. Take a look at the funny and pretty sexy full poster below.

However it does fit the movie, which sees Cam as a womanising guy who wishes his penis away after his incessant cheating costs him another girlfriend. However his dick ends up taking on human form (of Thune), which as you can probably guess, cause all sorts of problems.

Talking to Buzzfeed, Gigandet says “Yes, it’s raunchy, but that’s not all there is to this movie. [Rich’s] whole life is about instant gratification, and he needs to become a man. It’s a relatable journey and story — OK, well, aside from the losing-his-penis part — but the idea of having things taken away if you don’t value them was very relatable to me.”

And while many of his movie roles have seen him stripping off he says, “I don’t know if I’ll ever really get used to seeing myself naked on screen, but I understand it’s part of the job and part of telling a story. When there’s no reason for it and it feels silly, then I get a little squirrelly — which has happened. But it all makes sense here. I’m really curious to hear what people think of this movie.”

As for the poster itseld, getting it right it right wasn’t easy. “It was such a long process trying to figure out what was acceptable and what would send the message we actually wanted to send,” he says.

The film is out in the US on VoD on April 1st and in cinemas May 2nd. It’s not clear when it will arrive in the UK. [Read more…]
