Apropos Of Nothing: Sexy Model Levi Jackson

January 5, 2013 By Tim Isaac Leave a Comment

Levi-Jackson-by-David-Wagner6-slideAs far as we know, Levi Jackson has never been in a film, but the moment Queerty tipped me off to his existence on this planet, I decided he ought to be. He doesn’t need to say anything – he can just stand on a revolving platform with his shirt off for an hour and a half if he wants to.

He’s certainly a sexy young man and seems keen to prove to the world that he has pubic hair as in most of the images I could find of him he seems to be showing off how no trimmer has reached below the chest area (and even on his top-half he’s sexily furry).

We have no excuse for running these shots, but we hope you enjoy. The ones where he’s in swimming trunks are by Jorge Rivas for DNA Magazine, while the others were taken by LA photog David Wagner. [Read more…]

Crush Of The Day: Scott Eastwood

January 2, 2013 By Tim Isaac Leave a Comment

Scott-Eastwood-slide
From his surname and the pic above, you’d be right to think that Scott Eastwood is related to his incredibly famous father, Clint. However it’s only recently he’s been using his illustrious family name, as he started his acting career as Scott Reeves, taking his mother, flight attendant Jacelyn Reeves’, surname.

There’s a good reason for that, as Clint didn’t publicly acknowledge he’d fathered Scot and his sister Kathryn until 2002. Indeed it’s said that on their birth certificate it simply says ‘father declined’. Scott was born just as Clint was beginning his spell as mayor of Carmel, California in 1986, which is where he grew up.

Now that Clint’s let the world know he has two more children than they originally knew about, he’s been helping his son out, as he gave Scott his first small movie role in Flags Of Our Fathers, and also cast him in Gran Torino (which was his last role as Scott Reeves) and Invictus. More recently they’ve been acting alongside one another in Trouble With The Curve.

Scott’s acting career hasn’t solely been working with his dad though, as he’s also appeared in the likes of An American Crime, Chasing Mavericks and the upcoming The Perfect Wave (the last two films showing his love of surfing). On January 9th (with previews on Jan 4th & 5th) he’ll be in UK cinemas taking a major role in Texas Chainsaw 3D.

Whether Scott will ever reach the heights of fame of his father is yet to be seen, but he’s got the looks. Take a look through the cute pics of him below, clicking on them to enlarge. [Read more…]

Crush Of The Day: Gerard Butler

January 1, 2013 By Tim Isaac 3 Comments

Gerard-Butler-Playing-For-Keeps-slide
Playing For Keeps hits UK cinemas today, so that’s a good reason to take a look at some hot pics of Gerard Butler. The actor has been around for quite a while, starting out in small roles in the likes of Mrs. Brown and Tomorrow Never Dies.

Although he soon began to get larger parts, such as the title role in Dracula 2001 and playing Creedy in Reign Of Fire, nobody really played much attention to him until he scored the villain role in Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Cradle Of Life. That led to the likes of Timeline and The Phantom Of The Opera, but it wasn’t until 300 that he broke out into the Hollywood mainstream.

Unfortunately, since then he’s spent most of his time in middling movies such as The Ugly Truth and The Bounty Hunter, along with plenty of generic action films such as Law Abiding Citizen and Gamer. Indeed he’s in need of a bit of a hit, as in the the last few months the US releases of Chasing Mavericks and Playing For Keeps have both bombed. He’ll be hoping for better from the upcoming White House hostage flick Olympus Has Fallen, which arrives in cinemas this spring.

However, while his films haven’t always been great, Gerard’s always looked good in them, and so we’ve gathered some of his best pics below. Click on them to enlarge. [Read more…]

Crush Of The Day: Baytown Outlaw’s Travis Fimmel

December 24, 2012 By Tim Isaac Leave a Comment

Travis-Fimmel-Baytown-Outlaws2-slideYou might not know his name but you may well remember Travis Fimmel’s rather unforgettable face. The Aussie first came to prominence in the early 2000s with a series of striking ads for Calvin Klein. Indeed, he became such as sensation the he became the first male model to sign a six-figure deal to model exclusively for the designer.

His modelling led to acting, starting with the title role in a short-lived 2003 Tarzan TV series. Since then he’s appeared in smaller films such as Restraint and Surfer Dude, as well as taking a major role opposite Patrick Swayze in the TV show, The Beast.

He also take a big part as one of the violent Oodie brothers in The Baytown Outlaws, which hits DVD and Blu-ray in the UK on December 26th, where he grizzles up his famously good looks with a straggly beard, constant sweat and a bit of grime. He still looks surprisingly good though, and if you don’t think model make good actors, he’ll surprise you as he turns in a very good performance in the film. We’ll also be able to see him next year in the History Channel series, Vikings, where his blond handsomeness should fit well.

The release of Baytown Outlaws is a great excuse to look back at some of the best pics of Travis from both his acting and modelling career, so click on the images below to enlarge. [Read more…]

Crush Of The Day: Pitch Perfect’s Freddie Stroma

December 22, 2012 By Tim Isaac 1 Comment

Freddie-Stroma3-slideAs I mentioned in my review of Pitch Perfect, while I was drooling over British actor Freddie Stroma in the film, I couldn’t work out where I’d seen him before (I was rather distracted by his astonishing abs). It was only thanks to IMDB that I released he was the arrogant Cormac McLaggen in the Harry Potter movies.

However he’s certainly looks a lot better when he’s not at Hogwarts, which set me off on a search for some sexy pics of Stroma. Luckily he’s done a fair bit of modelling work, which means there are plenty of hot shots of him, along with videos of him dancing around in all sorts of undies and doing some pretty impressive gymnastics. To be honest he looks a bit of a tit in the dancing footage, but it’s still very hot.

As well as Harry Potter and Pitch Perfect, Stroma has appeared in 4.3.2.1., A Cinderella Story: Once Upon a Song, and will be seen next year in The Philosophers. Personally I think he should just wander around with his shirt off and film that. I’d watch.

Click the pics below for larger versions, and enjoy the videos (and Freddie’s butt) underneath those. [Read more…]

Apropos Of Nothing: George Takei Reads From Fifty Shades of Grey

December 21, 2012 By Tim Isaac Leave a Comment

Oh my! We wouldn’t have though Fifty Shades Of Grey would be gay septuagenarian George Takei’s kind of thing, but the Star Trek legend has decided to lend his mellifluous tones to an extract from the bestselling S&M filled tome, which you can watch above.

We’re not sure whether to be impressed or slightly creeped out, but Takei is a great sport, playing on the fact that for some reason everyone seems to think he’s constantly saying, ‘Oh my!’

I’m not sure whether I could listen to a complete George Takei audiobook of 50 Shades, but it makes for a funny couple of minutes. Enjoy.

Crush Of The Day: Famous Faces Get Festive – Part 3

December 21, 2012 By Tim Isaac Leave a Comment

neil-patrick-harris-christmas-slideIf you’ve enjoyed Part 1 and Part 2 of our look at celebs looking all Christmassy, you’ll be pleased to hear I’ve got 15 more images of festive famous faces in this final part of the Crush Of The Day Christmas special!

Ryan Phillippe is looking all kinds of sexy in a Santa suit and Matt Damon miraculously manages to make a hideous snowman cardigan look good. I’m aware that technically the Robert Pattinson image isn’t Christmassy, but his pants are red and it certainly makes me feel festive (at least, I think that’s what that feeling is).

Vinne Jones is probably wishing the horribly cheesy picture below didn’t exist, but everyone else is looking pretty good. There’s the likes of Neil Patrick Harris, Ryan Gosling, Robert Downey Jr. and Paul Walker, so enjoy!

Oh, and we’re aware the guy in the final image isn’t famous, but he’s helluva sexy, so I had to include him.

Click on below for larger version of the images. And if you want to see Parts 1 & 2 you can find those here and here. [Read more…]

The Problem With Some Gay Films – Are they sold too much just on sex?

December 20, 2012 By Lewis Shepherd Leave a Comment

eating-out-open-weekend-slideI’ve previously written a number of articles about gay men in films and on television, such as why it’s important that gay people are featured in the medium of both film and TV and why it is important that we have films that centre on gay people. I do believe that this is important, but as a gay man I also have a number of issues with many LGBT films.

The problem I have with many gay movies is they look just like soft-core pornography. I say this because after moseying around a branch of HMV, I came across a gay orientated film, however the synopsis and even the name of the movie have failed to stick in my mind. This is due to the fact that after looking on the back of the DVD I was greeted by a number of images of half naked men, some of which clearly depicted a sex scene, and this wasn’t an isolated incident to this one particular film. Crush Of The Day: Famous Faces Get Festive – Part 2

December 20, 2012 By Tim Isaac Leave a Comment

Jake-Gyllenhaal2-slide
It’s Christmas! Therefore it’s a good time to take a look at those famous faces who’ve been photographed dressed as Santa or generally looking festive. Yesterday we offered the likes of Darren Criss, Ashton Kutcher and Ben Affleck getting their Christmas on, and today we’ve got 15 more images for you to crush on.

There’s Jake Gyllenhaal looking hot (literally and metaphorically) in Jarhead, Jason Segel being cute while opening Muppety presents and Matt Damon seeming pretty jolly and red. Not everyone is looking amazing though, as I’d imagine Justin Timberlake wishes all evidence of the image in the gallery below had been erased from the planet. I also think that if John Travolta doesn’t want people to think he’s gay, he shouldn’t have pictures taken of himself sat next to Olivia Newton John while wearing a Santa hat.

And does Mario Lopez really decorate his Christmas tree just wearing his underpants? It would seem so as he tweeted the image himself.

We’ve got some more festive pics coming tomorrow, so make sure you come back for them, and if you missed Part 1 yesterday, you can see those pics here, and you can find the third and final part here. Click on the pics below for larger versions. [Read more…]

Crush Of The Day: Famous Faces Get Festive – Part 1

December 19, 2012 By Tim Isaac Leave a Comment

Darren-CrissIt’s Christmas, so I thought it was high time to crush on famous faces dressing as Santa, decorating trees and generally looking festive. While some of the pics took some searching for, I eventually got so many I thought I’d split them into three parts, which I’ll post over the next few days. So make sure you come back to see more sexy Christmas celebs.

One of the best pics, which you can see above, has only recently been released. Glee creator Ryan Murphy tweeted it, saying it’s part of a ‘Men Of McKinley’ calendar. While there’s confusion over whether the calendar is real  – and indeed Murphy’s added to this by deleting all of his tweets (only saying he hadn’t been hacked) – it’s been suggested this is part of an upcoming episode of Glee.

Criss isn’t the only one who looks good, as you’ve gotta love Ashton Kutcher lying in bed wearing a Santa hat. Not everyone is looking sexy though as Dan Aykroyd has looked better, and while nearly all our crushes are guys, we’ve included The Hills star Audrina Partridge just because of who she’s standing next to.

And don’t ask me what on earth David Hasselhoff is doing, as I don’t know.

Anyway enjoy the first gallery (click on the pics below for larger versions), and make sure you come back tomorrow for more famous festive faces.

Click here for Part 2, which includes the likes of Jake Gyllenhaal, Logan Lerman and Matt Damon, while the final part, with Ryan Philippe, Tom Cruise and more, can be found here. [Read more…]
