With a selection of recognisable gay faces and a trailer that suggests it might be pretty fun and sexy, Confessions is one to watch out for. Another very good sign is it was written and directed by Mark Bessenger, the man behind the excellent The Last Straight Man, one of our Top 10 LGBT Films Of 2015.
Here’s the synopsis: ‘Take a peak under the surface of any gay man, and who knows what you’ll find? CONFESSIONS, an anthology of disclosures from the recesses of the gay male psyche, goes some way to answer that very question. Spanning themes that are dark, sexy, intense, funny, romantic and shocking, CONFESSIONS turns a spotlight on characters you don’t often get to see- but will not want to turn away from.’
The movie should arrive on DVD in July, but to get a taste, watch the trailer below. [Read more…]

It seems like a long time ago that Matthew McConaughey was becoming a bit of a joke, who many people thought was a lousy actor who only produced an endless string of mediocre rom-com. Now he’s an Oscar-winner who tends to only make interesting choices and movie that are worth a watch.
While 1996’s Independence Day was a big hit on its first released, it’s been a long time since it first arrived in cinemas. That includes releasing an extended five-minute trailer to give us a full taste of the movie, including plenty of action, darkness and a bit more of the plot.

Now the first teaser trailer has arrived, which concentrates on showing us the Beast castle as it atrophies due to the curse, before Emma Watson’s Belle shows up at the end.
