Neither Al Pacino nor director Brian De Palma are the all-conquering film names they were when they teamed up for the classic remake Scarface in 1983, or when they also had success a decade later with Carlito’s Way. Back in August both Zachary Quinto and James Franco released a few pics of themselves on the set of their new movie, Michael, but it’s only now that we’re getting the first proper image from the film, which accompanies a
Without the Minions, there’s a good chance Despicable Me wouldn’t have been the hit it was. If nothing else they’ve been a massive merchandising bonanza, so it’s not too much of a shock that the small, yellow oblongs are getting their own film.
Jake Gyllenhaal got some of the best notices of his career for the just released Nightcrawler (and not solely for his dramatic weight loss). It now looks like he’s interested in staying in morally ambiguous territory with The Man Who Made It Snow according to
Henry Cavill can’t spend all his time wearing a large ‘S’ on his chest (well, I suppose he could, but he’d get a few funny looks), so he’s signed up to spend part of his time between Batman V Superman and Justice League starring in the action thriller Stratton.
