Michael Bay is busy filling out a new human cast for the next Transformers movie, with Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz, Jack Reynor, Stanley Tucci, Sophia Miles, Fan Bingbing and Kelsey Grammer already signed up.
Now the director has added one more actor, TJ Miller, according to THR, while two new Autobots have been revealed, in their car forms.
Miller is a stand-up who’s popped up in movies such as Cloverfield, She’s Out Of My League and How To Train Your Dragon. He’ll play the best friend of Mark Wahlberg’s character in Transformers 4.
With production kicking off on location in Monument Valley near the border of Arizona and Utah, Yahoo! Movies also has our first look at two new Autobots, in their car form – a C7 Corvette Stingray and the Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse (the latter of which costs $2.4 million!).
There’s no info on which bots these are, although I’m sure fans will have a few guesses. A June 27th, 2014 release date has already been set.
