Brady Corbet is best known for appearing in the likes of Mysterious Skin, Melancholia, Funny Games and Martha Marcy May Marlene. For a 25-year-old he’s had a lot of indie movie experience and he’s going to be putting that into practice as he’s now turning feature director with The Childhood of a Leader.
He’s lined up a great cast for the movie, as Variety reports that Juliette Binoche and Tim Roth will topline the film, with Robert Pattinson also set to star.
Corbet also co-wrote the script with Mona Fastvold. Unfortunately though there’s not much info on the plot, other than that it ‘focuses on the childhood of a post-World War I leader’. The movie is tentatively set to shoot next May in Europe.
