Hollywood’s Most Ripped - From Legend Of Hercules' Kellan Lutz to the hotness of Tom Hardy

To celebrate the release of The Legend of Hercules in UK cinemas on 28th March 2014, we are taking a look at some of the top Hollywood hunks out there! The Legend of Hercules stars Kellan Lutz, who plays the almighty Hercules, also known for playing Emmett Cullen in the Twilight series. Moving away from the Twilight fantasy scene, he now plays a Greek hero who goes into battle with many topless scenes which we’re sure the ladies will enjoy! Here are some other examples of Hollywood’s most ripped:

Kellan Lutz
Before deciding to pursue a career in acting, Lutz attended Chapman University to accomplish a degree in chemical engineering. He has acted in a number of television shows and music videos, but his big break came when he played Emmett Cullen in the film adaptations of the Twilight (2008) saga by Stephenie Meyer and reprised his role for the sequel, The Twilight Saga: New Moon (2009). As well as acting, Lutz is also a model, working with huge brands such as Calvin Klein.

Sylvester Stallone
Stallone is famous worldwide for his tremendous leading role in Rocky (1976), where he played the boxer Rocky Balboa (as well as writing and directing the film). The production went on to win the Academy Award for Best Picture, Best Directing and Best Film Editing. Stallone was also nominated for two Academy Awards for Rocky, Best Screenplay and Best Actor. Stallone was also ranked in the top 100 of Empire (UK) magazine’s “Top 100 Movie Stars of All Time” list. His main trademarks are his muscular physique and for his roles as as action film veteran. He has also starred in The Expendables, Rambo, and Bullet to the Head.

Chris Hemsworth
Chris Hemsworth, the Australian actor, is best known for his role as Thor in the Marcel Studios films Thor (2011), and The Avengers. He is also known for his trade mark towering height, and his muscular physique! He gained 20 pounds of muscle for the title role in Thor (2011). That said, Chris Hemsworth had to shed 30 pounds for his role in F1 biopic, RUSH (2013)

Jason Statham
Jason Statham is a man of many talents. He is an English actor, producer, martial artist, and former diver. He is best known for his roles in Guy Ritchie crime films Revolver, Snatch, and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. He has also starred in films such as The Italian Job, The Transporter, The Bank Job, and The Expendables 1 and 2. So, mainly action films! He usually performs his own stunts and stage combats, and is also noted as being typecast as an antihero.

Arnold Schwarzenegger
When you think of Arnold Schwarzenegger, I’m sure the first thing that comes into your head is bodybuilder, and an image of his magnificent muscular physique! However, Schwarzenegger is much more than a bodybuilder. He is also an Austrian American actor, politician, businessman, and investor. He began his weight training at the age of fifteen, and won the Mr. Universe title at the age of twenty and then went on to win the Mr. Olympia contest seven times! He has starred in films such as The Expendables, The Terminator, Predator, The Running Man, plus many more.

Gerard Butler
Gerard Butler is a Scottish actor who has appeared on stage, TV, and film. He trained as a lawyer, but turned to acting in the mid 1990’s with small roles in productions such as Tomorrow Never Dies (James Bond). Butler is at his prime when it comes to ‘most ripped’ in the film 300, where he plays King Leonidas. He has also appeared in films including P.S I Love You, Nim’s Island, RocknRolla, The Ugly Truth, Law Abiding Citizen, and The Bounty Hunter.

Hugh Jackman
Hugh Jackman is an Australian actor and producer, and is involved in film, musical theatre, and television. He is widely known for his long running role in the X-Men film series, as Wolverine, where he shows off his sculpted figure. He is also famous for his role as Jean Val Jean in Les Miserables, which earned him his first Academy Award nomination for Best Actor, and his first Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in 2013. As well as acting, he is a highly talented singer and dancer, and won a Tony Award for his role in The Boy from Oz.

Tom Hardy
Tom Hardy is an English actor, and is widely known for his roles in Star Trek: Nemesis, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, This Means War, The Dark Knight Rises, and Inception which he won the BAFTA Rising Star Award for. He was ranked at number seventeen on Empire Online’s list of the 100 Sexiest Movie Stars in 2013.
