Josh Duhamel Gets Shirtless In New Pics From Safe Haven

January 29, 2013 By Tim Isaac Leave a Comment

If you’re making an adaptation of a Nicholas Sparks novel it is compulsory that at some point a hunky young guy will get his shirt off – and if you want to sell the movie, you’ll probably release a few pics from that scene to publicise the movie.

That’s what’s happened with the upcoming Safe Haven, with a new pic of Transformers star Josh Duhamel frolicking in the surf with Julianne Hough.

Here’s the synopsis: ‘An affirming and suspenseful story about a young woman’s struggle to love again, Safe Haven is based on the novel from Nicholas Sparks, the best-selling author behind the hit films The Notebook and Dear John.

‘When a mysterious young woman arrives in a small North Carolina town, her reluctance to join the tight knit community raises questions about her past. Slowly, she begins putting down roots, and gains the courage to start a relationship with Alex, a widowed store owner with two young children.

‘But dark secrets intrude on her new life with such terror that she is forced to rediscover the meaning of sacrifice and rely on the power of love in this deeply moving romantic thriller.’

The Lasse Halstrom (Dear John) directed movie hits UK cinemas on March 1st. Click on the pics below for larger versions.

Let’s Objectify Men With A Sexy New Diet Coke Ad

January 29, 2013 By Tim Isaac Leave a Comment

While everyone has agreed that sexual equality is a good thing, there’s still no real consensus on exactly how to negotiate that. Does it mean men should never objectify women? Or does it mean that we shouldn’t have a problem if women want to objectify men? And what about gay men, do we get a free ride on the objectification bus as we wouldn’t want to sexualise women but like ogling guys?

Well, thankfully while these ideas have been debated for decades, Diet Coke has been busy giving us the answer. Ever since the famed Lucky Vanous commercial where office workers took a break to watch a construction worker take his shirt off, the drinks company has let us know it is perfectly okay for women to objectify men as long as low calorie beverages are somehow involved.

They’re now underscoring that idea with a new 30th Anniversary ad, Gardener, where a hunk causes a group of Diet Coke drinking women to stop in their tracks while he offers them a bit of an impromptu strip show. However while the women seemed impressed, I can’t help thinking that if he really sweats that much, he probably stinks. Take a look above (and if you don’t remember the Lucky Vanous ad, that one’s below).

Take A Look At Jennifer Lawrence’s My Super Sweet 16 Beginnings

January 28, 2013 By Tim Isaac Leave a Comment

The Screen Actor’s Guild Awards were last night, with Jennifer Lawrence picking up the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role gong for her role in Silver Linings Playbook. Some were slightly confused though about why she gave a shout-out to MTV.

So what’s the link between Jen and MTV? Well, it turns out the SAG Awards were an apt place for the mention, as Lawrence got her Screen Actors Guild membership partly by shooting promos for the MTV reality series, My Super Sweet 16. And you can take a look at them above.

It’s a bit odd to think of the award-winning Hunger Games actress starting out in ads for trashy MTV shows, but everyone’s got to get their start – and indeed Lawrence would have found it far more difficult to rise up the Hollywood tree without that SAG membership.

Nicholas Hoult Has Shaved His Head And Is Looking Hot!

January 26, 2013 By Tim Isaac Leave a Comment

Nicholas-Hoult-fashion-slideOnce upon a time Nicholas Hoult was the kid from About A Boy and Skins. Nowadays he’s the star of X-Men: First Class star who’s taking the lead role in two major Hollywood efforts that are hitting cinemas in the next couple of months – Warm Bodies and Jack The Giant Slayer.

He’s also being playing model for a fashion shoot appearing in tomorrow’s Observer magazine (January 27th 2013), and a few pics from that spread have popped up over on the Guardian website. He’s shaved his head and we have to say he’s looking incredibly hot.

Take a look at the shots below (click on them for larger version), and there’ll be more pics in tomorrow’s Observer magazine.

The zombie comedy Warm Bodies hits cinemas February 8th, while Bryan Singer’s Jack The Giant Slayer is out March 22nd.

Crush Of The Day: Rodrigo Santoro

January 24, 2013 By Tim Isaac Leave a Comment

Rodrigo-Santoro-slide
Brazilian actor Rodrigo Santoro is probably best known for a role where he’s pretty much unrecognisable, as the evil Xerxes in 300. However he’s back in UK cinemas – looking much more like himself – in The Last Stand, in which he stars opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger and Johnny Knoxville.

The 37-year-old has also been seen in Che, What To Expect When You’re Expecting, There Be Dragons and 14 episodes of TV’s Lost. Many will remember him wearing just his underwear while trying to get it on with Laura Linney in Love Actually. Indeed that’s probably the only thing about that movie that many can remember.

He’s also played gay in I Love You Phillip Morris, where he was Jim Carrey’s rather camp boyfriend. Next up he’s returning to the role of Xerxes for 300: Rise Of An Empire, which is due for release this summer.

The release of The Last Stand is certainly a good excuse to take a look at a few hot pics of the actor, who’s certainly not averse to getting his shirt off. Click on any of the pics below to enlarge. [Read more…]

Neil’s Puppet Dreams – Neil Patrick Harris goes Bollywood in the season finale

January 23, 2013 By Tim Isaac Leave a Comment

All good things must come to an end, and now it’s time for the season finale of the great web series Neil’s Puppet Dreams. If you’ve been following BGPS, you’ll know it’s all about Neil Patrick Harris, who apparently dreams in puppet, where things get rather surreal.

This time around it give NPH an excuse to do a massive Bollywood musical number, where he falls in love with a puppet cow and gets a little bestial. It’s very silly but as with the rest of the series it’s a lot of fun.

If you’ve missed any of the other episodes, you can find them all here, or check them out over at Nerdist’s Youtube channel.

Apropos Of Nothing: Andrew Christian Offers Some Locker Room Payback (NSFW)

January 20, 2013 By Tim Isaac Leave a Comment

First off we ought to give you a bit of a NSFW warning, as while all Andrew Christian videos might make your colleagues blush, this one has actual penises in it! Yep, after becoming masters of hiding genitalia (sometime Austin Powers style) in their erotic underwear vids, this time AC actually lets us see a little cock (that’s referring to the length of time we see willies, not the size of the actual members).

The ‘plot’ for this one features a bunch of buff jocks picking on some ‘nerds’ (although that’s relative here as the nerds are still models) but then getting some payback – and all in as homoerotic fashion as humanly possible!

Like the best of AC, it’s very sexy and well worth a look – it’s certainly a lot better than most other advertising for underwear, or indeed any advertising full stop. You can also check out more vids over at AndrewChristian. [Read more…]

Apropos Of Nothing: 360-Degree Tom Daley Short Film

January 19, 2013 By Tim Isaac Leave a Comment

I’m sure there are quite a few of you out there who like the idea of diver Tom Daley completely enveloping you. Well now you’ve kind of got your chance, thanks to director Amanda Bluglass’ short film, Beneath360, which was filmed to be projected on a 360-degree at the London Olympics.

It was shown in Weymouth, where all the sailing events took place, on an enormous 62m x 6m screen! It’s a bit of an odd experience watching it on a normal screen, but it gives you a good idea of what it would have looked like if it was surrounding, and Tom’s looking good.

The film also features Olympian Brooke Graddon and under 12 champion Victoria Vincent as they dive into the water from a 10m board.

Take a look at the film above – and as I’m sure you’ve guessed, it’s best to watch it fullscreen and enjoy all the splashing. (Via laughingsquid)

Watch What Gay Guys Think About Vaginas

January 18, 2013 By Tim Isaac Leave a Comment

Most gay guys don’t talk about vaginas much. Indeed, if you’ve ever brought up the subject in front of a group of gay men, the likely reaction will be that a few will screw up their faces as if you’ve just mentioned the grossest thing they’ve ever heard of.

But does that mean we don’t know anything about vaginas? Do they have no thoughts on the subject of ladies private parts? Well a new video sets out to find out, asking a range of gay men about lady gardens and gather their thoughts on the subject, which do indeed range from the vaguely grossed out to peculiar comparisons (‘It’s kind of like a grilled cheese sandwich’) and those who do actually know what they’re talking about.

And it all ends with a appreciation recognising just how important they are to gay boys! Take a look above.

Zac Efron Gets Caught With Dildos (But only because he was shooting a film)

January 18, 2013 By Tim Isaac Leave a Comment

zac-efron-sex-shopApparently Zac Efron doesn’t like it when you take his photo next to an array of dildos – he’s just picky like that. However one photog managed to grab just such a shot, while Zac was shooting a movie at the Fantasy World sex shop in the West Village of New York City.

According to the NYPost, the star wasn’t too happy about this and ask the snapper to delete the shot, but he refused. Not that he needed to worry too much, as his reps were quick to let people know he wasn’t there picking up personal supplies (I’m sure he has flunkies to go to sex shops for him), but shooting the romantic comedy Are We Officially Dating?

The movies see him as one of a groups of Manhattan friends who make a pact to remain single. The plot thickens when each friend falls in love shortly after the vow is made (wouldn’t you just know it!). Miles Teller and Imogen Poots also star. (Image via Daily Mail)
