Linda Sinclair (Julianne Moore) is the titular English teacher, a 40-something spinster whose life has been so filled with literature that she has been unable to find a man who can fulfil her romantic ideals. With shooting finally kicking off on Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, the cast continues to grow, with Greg Kinnear and Josh Lawson joining the ensemble as production continues in Atlanta.
Deadline reports on the casting news, but unfortunately they don’t have any info on the character either actor will play.
Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy sees the return of Will Ferrell (Ron Burgundy), Paul Rudd (Brian Fantana), Steve Carell (Brick Tamland), David Koechner (Champ Kind), and Christina Applegate (Veronica Corningstone) with new characters played by the likes of Kristen Wiig, James Marsden, Dylan Baker, Meagan Good, and Harrison Ford.
The movie is set in the late 1970s, with the Action 4 News team having adapt to the ever-changing landscape of broadcast news after the advent of the 24-hour news cycle. We also known it involves a trip to New York.
