Christopher Nolan seems keen to have just about everybody in Interstellar. The likes of Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Michael Caine, Bill Irwin, Casey Affleck, Mackenzie Foy, John Lithgow, Wes Bentley and Topher Grace have already signed up. Now they’ve been joined by David Oyelowo (Lee Daniels’ the Butler) and David Gyasi (Cloud Atlas).
The movie revolves around a journey into outer space that pushes humanity’s knowledge of science and technology. The film was initially inspired based on the scientific theories of Kip S. Thorne, who believes that wormholes exist and can be used for time travel. Christopher Nolan is directing from a screenplay he co-wrote with his brother Jonathan Nolan.
Nolan is being predictably secretive about the specifics of his film though, so there’s no news on who any of the actors will play.
The film will shoot later this year, with a November 7th, 2014 release date already set.
