With Comic-Con kicking off in Sand Diego, movie studios have been lining up to release new posters for their upcoming movies. That includes Wonder Woman, Kong: Skull Island, The LEGO Batman Movie, Fantastic Beasts & Where To Find Them, War Dogs and King Arthur.
All of those movies will be hoping to excite fanboys at the Californian event, and hopefully many of them will be releasing some trailer/footage for the rest of us too. First up though it’s the posters.
We’ve also posted the first official image from Kong: Skull Island, showing Tom Hiddleston and Brie Larson, alongside evidence that they’re going to be dealing with some ridiculously large apes. However, like earlier promos, Kong bones suggest this will deal with a species in decline, leaving King Kong as the last of his kind.

After taking us into a city of talking animals with Zootopia – which recently hit a truly impressive $1bn worldwide at the box office – Disney is heading back into the world of princesses with Moana. However, rather than a chilly fantasy like Frozen, this one is set in Polynesia. A new international trailer has arrived, which gives us a look at the princess as a baby, and her magical relationship with the ocean.
Vin Diesel is making a bit of a habit of leaving franchises before returning later. He did it with Fast & Furious, and after playing Xander Cage in 2002’s xXx, he bowed out for the sequel, which starred Ice Cube.
Before it even started filming, some had decided that the fact Fast & Furious helmer Justin Lin was directing Star Trek Beyond meant it was going to be a disaster. However, the early buzz is that they should have had a lot more faith, with many suggesting this it the best of the rebooted Star Trek bunch.
Paula Hawkins’ novel, The Girl On The Train, turned into a bit of a publishing phenomenon, which inevitably meant a movie adaptation would follow. Now the first trailer for the movie has arrived, which you can take a look at below.
There are still plenty of people wondering whether The Magnificent Seven needs a remake, but we’re getting one. It certainly helps that they’ve brought together a great cast, including Denzel Washington, Chris Pratt, Ethan Hawke, Vincent D’Onofrio, Byung-Hun Lee and Peter Sarsgaard.
Back in 2009 nobody really knew what a Chris Hemsworth was. His biggest role was a couple hundred episodes of Aussie soap opera Home & Away, before he scored a tiny part in the rebooted Star Trek, playing Captain Kirk’s dad, George, who didn’t last more than the first few minutes before dying. However, it turns out that won’t be the last we’ll see of his in the renewed franchise.
