Retake gets its world premiere in a couple of days at San Francisco’s Frameline Film Festival. and will also be screened at LA’s Outfest on July 14th. It’s certainly one of the more interesting new gay-themed movies currently on the LGBT film festival circuit, starring Tuc Watkins (Desperate Housewives), Devon Graye (American Horror Story: Asylum), Derek Phillips (Friday Night Lights) and Kit Williamson (Mad Men).
The film follow Watkins’ middle-aged Jonathan (Tuc Watkins), a lonely man who hires a young male hustler (Devon Graye). Jonathan is hoping to recreate his past, taking the young man on a road trip from San Francisco, out across the American Southwest. However, as the trip goes on, things get increadingly complex.
