Annie – 30th Anniversary Sing-Along Edition (Blu-ray)

November 29, 2012 By Tim Isaac Leave a Comment

Starring: Aileen Quinn, Albert Finney, Carol Burnett, Ann Reinking, Tim Curry
Director: John Huston
Running Time: 127 mins
Certificate: U
Release Date: November 26th 2012

Legend (Blu-ray)

February 8, 2012 By Tim Isaac Leave a Comment

Starring: Tom Cruise, Mia Sara, Tim Curry
Director: Ridley Scott
Running Time: 89 mins
Certificate: PG
Release Date: February 6th, 2012

You’d have thought that after Arthur Christmas the British animation industry might have wanted to steer clear of festive flicks for a while, but Gateway Films, the company behind Adulthood & Shank are planning one called Saving Santa.

The voice cast has now been revealed, via Variety, with Martin Freeman, Noel Clarke and Tim Curry, alongside the likes of Joan Collins, Pam Ferris, Craig Fairbass and Chris Barrie. Freeman is set to play a clumsy elf who has to rescue Santa’s HQ when its location is discovered by a nasty villain. Ricky Roxburgh has written the script and Leon Joosen is directing.
