Orlando Bloom is stepping back out of Middle Earth and teaming up with Michael Douglas and Noomi Rapace for the thriller Unlocked, with Michael Hafstrom directing, according to THR.
Based on Peter O’Brien’s script, the film is about Rapace’s CIA interrogator, who gets tricked into providing a terrorist with information that they need and because of that she becomes involved in a plot to plan a biological attack in London.
It’s not clear who either Bloom or Douglas will play.
The film is currently looking for buyers in Toronto, with production set to start this November.


Even before Roderick Gordon and Brian Williams’ novel Tunnels was published, Hollywood had snapped up the rights and was planning a film version. However it’s taken a lot longer than originally envisioned to get it ready. Now there’a bit more impetus as Relativity Media has announced they have signed Mikael Håfström (The Tomb, 1408) to direct the fantasy adventure book.

It’s gonna be Rambo vs. The Terminator vs. Jesus himself in The Tomb, as with Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger have been joined by Jim Caviezel in the prison drama. Producer Mark Canton revealed on The Matthew Aaron Show that Caviezel has signed on to play the Warden.
In the 1980s, film fans cried out for a film that would team Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone together in one movie, but it never happened. However since Arnie’s returned to the movies from politics, they can’t stop working together. After two Expendables movies, the duo have now been confirmed for The Tomb, which starts shooting this spring, with Mikael Hafstrom (1408) directing.
