The Internet Goes Into Metdown Over Full Frontal Orlando Bloom & Justin Bieber

August 6, 2016 By Tim Isaac Leave a Comment

Orlando-BloomIt’s been a big week for celebrity penis spotters, with the internet going into total meltdown after Orlando Bloom decided to get out his bits out while relaxing paddleboarding in Italy. That was followed shortly by new (and better quality than previous) images of Justin Bieber’s peen. Indeed the fact they came in such quick succession, made some wonder whether Bieber had done it on purpose to compete with Bloom in some sort of bizarre famous willy competition.

Some even wondered whether both had been in collusion with the photographers, due to the fact we’re used to such pictures being taken from a great distance and being pretty blurry and grainy, but these images are clear, hi-res and everything’s pretty, er, in your face.

Fact is though, neither of the guys has anything they should feel the need to hide, and they can also help the uninitiated discover the difference between a cut and an uncut penis. That said, we couldn’t help but notice that Bloom seems to be more of a fan of manscaping than Bieber is.

Unfortunately we are too prudish to post the uncensored pics here, but take a look at a couple of the pics with strategic black bars below. And if you want to see the full thing(s) surprisingly clearly, you can find Orlando Bloom here and Justin Bieber here. [Read more…]

Orlando Bloom Confirmed For Pirates Of Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales

August 16, 2015 By Tim Isaac Leave a Comment

orlando-bloom-piratesOrlando Bloom may not have appeared in the fourth Pirates Of The Caribbean movie, On Stranger Tides, but at Disney’s D23 Expo he made an appearance to confirm he’ll be back for the fifth adventure, Dead Men Tell No Tales.

He appeared wearing full Jack Sparrow costume, suggesting that perhaps this time around he’ll be a pirate in his own right, taking Johnny Depp’s character as his inspiration.

The first proper synopsis has also been released, which reads: ‘Thrust into an all-new adventure, a down-on-his-luck Captain Jack Sparrow finds the winds of ill-fortune blowing even more strongly when deadly ghost pirates led by his old nemesis, the terrifying Captain Salazar (Bardem), escape from the Devil’s Triangle, determined to kill every pirate at sea…including him. Captain Jack’s only hope of survival lies in seeking out the legendary Trident of Poseidon, a powerful artifact that bestows upon its possessor total control over the seas.

‘The film is directed by Espen Sandberg & Joachim Rønning and stars Johnny Depp, Javier Bardem, Brenton Thwaites, Kevin R. McNally, Kaya Scodelario, Golshifteh Farahani, Stephen Graham, David Wenham and Geoffrey Rush. Jerry Bruckheimer is the producer and Chad Oman, Mike Stenson, Joe Caracciolo, Jr. and Brigham Taylor serve as executive producers. Jeff Nathanson wrote the screenplay. “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” releases in 2017.’

The Hobbit: The Battle Of The Five Armies (Blu-ray Review)

April 22, 2015 By Tim Isaac 1 Comment

Starring: Martin Freeman, Richard Armitage, Ian McKellen, Ken Stott, Orlando Bloom
Director: Peter Jackson
Running Time: 144 mins
Certificate: 12
Release Date: April 20th 2015 (UK)

The Battle Of The Five Armies certainly doesn’t want to give you time to settle in. Indeed it appears that in Peter Jackson’s mind he wasn’t making three movies, he was creating one enormously long one, as the final part of the trilogy jumps straight in without even the vaguest hint of a recap or a desire to allow the audience to catch their breath.

Nope, the dragon Smaug is on his way to attack Laketown and only Luke Evan’s Bard the Bowman can stop them. That part of the plot is wrapped up pretty quickly, leaving two full hours for the battle of the title and its build-up. Thorin (Richard Armitage) has holed himself up in his ancestral home in the Misty Mountain, but like his forefathers, having control of the vast dwarvish treasure immediately sends him nuts, with the gold causing him to betray his friends and isolate himself from all those around him. The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies Trailer – Can’t Middle Earth people just learn to get along?

November 6, 2014 By Tim Isaac Leave a Comment

hobbit-battle-of-five-armies-poster1-slideIn just over a month we’ll be going back into Middle Earth for the last time (probably) with the release of The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies. To give us a taste of what we can expect, the full trailer has now arrived, which you can watch below.

As you would expect, the trailer is big on battle (which presumably involves five armies) and suggests this instalment certainly won’t be lacking in action. Indeed rumours already suggest the final battle itself will last for more than 45 minutes.

Here’s the synopsis: ‘From Academy Award-winning filmmaker Peter Jackson comes “The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies,” the third in a trilogy of films adapting the enduringly popular masterpiece The Hobbit, by J.R.R. Tolkien.

‘“The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies” brings to an epic conclusion the adventures of Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman), Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage) and the Company of Dwarves. The Dwarves of Erebor have reclaimed the vast wealth of their homeland, but now must face the consequences of having unleashed the terrifying Dragon, Smaug, upon the defenseless men, women and children of Lake-town.

‘As he succumbs to dragon-sickness, the King Under the Mountain, Thorin Oakenshield, sacrifices friendship and honor in his search for the legendary Arkenstone. Unable to help Thorin see reason, Bilbo is driven to make a desperate and dangerous choice, not knowing that even greater perils lie ahead. An ancient enemy has returned to Middle-earth. Sauron, the Dark Lord, has sent forth legions of Orcs in a stealth attack upon the Lonely Mountain. As darkness converges on their escalating conflict, the races of Dwarves, Elves and Men must decide—unite or be destroyed. Bilbo finds himself fighting for his life and the lives of his friends as five great armies go to war.’

The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies is released in UK cinemas 12 December 2014. [Read more…]

September 8, 2014 By Tim Isaac Leave a Comment

Orlando-BloomOrlando Bloom is stepping back out of Middle Earth and teaming up with Michael Douglas and Noomi Rapace for the thriller Unlocked, with Michael Hafstrom directing, according to THR.

Based on Peter O’Brien’s script, the film is about Rapace’s CIA interrogator, who gets tricked into providing a terrorist with information that they need and because of that she becomes involved in a plot to plan a biological attack in London.

It’s not clear who either Bloom or Douglas will play.

The film is currently looking for buyers in Toronto, with production set to start this November.

The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug (Blu-ray)

April 7, 2014 By Tim Isaac Leave a Comment

Starring: Martin Freeman, Richard Armitage, Ian McKellen, Orlando Bloom
Director: Peter Jackson
Running Time: 161 mins
Certificate: 12
Release Date: April 7th 2014

It seems The Hobbit is determined to follow the same pattern as Lord Of The Rings. The first film was good but essentially just involved a lot of walking with a plot where much of it could have been cut out without hurting the overall arc of the story. The second is overall a better movie, but leaves things in a way where it’s difficult to fully judge it without seeing part three, as it spends so much time setting things up for that movie.

The Desolation Of Smaug picks up where the last film left off, with Bilbo (Martin Freeman), Gandalf (Ian McKellen) and the band of dwarves heading towards the Lonely Mountain in order to take on the dragon Smaug, who many years ago took smote Erebor and displaced the dwarves who lived there. The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug (Cinema)

December 11, 2013 By Stephen Sclater Leave a Comment

Starring: Martin Freeman, Ian McKellen, Richard Armitage, Orlando Bloom, Benedict Cumberbatch
Director: Peter Jackson
Running Time: 161
Certificate: 12A
Release Date: December 13th 2013

After the massive success of Lord Of The Rings, The Hobbit: An unexpected Journey wasn’t as well received by fans and critics. This was due to running time, the lengthy introduction to all the new characters, as well as Peter Jackson’s controversial decision to film and project it at 48fps (which many complained gave it a video feel).

So has Jackson redeemed himself with the diehard fans of Middle Earth with part two of the Hobbit trilogy? Yes, Smaug is The Two Towers compared to the slower Fellowship of the Ring. [Read more…]

New Pics: Daniel Radcliffe In The F Word, The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug & American Hustle

August 8, 2013 By Tim Isaac Leave a Comment

f-word-pic1A few interesting new images from some of 2013 and early 2014’s most-anticipated movies have emerged, with pics from The F Word, The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug and American Hustle arriving.

The F Word stars Daniel Radcliffe as Wallace, a young man who meets Chantry (Zoe Kazan) at a party where they hit it off. The problem is, Chantry has a long-term boyfriend, and the duo must navigate through a tenuous friendship (that’s the F word), while keeping their feelings at bay. The film will premiere at TIFF (who debuted the image), with a February UK release set.

The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug is, of course, Peter Jackson’s continuation of the classic JRR Tolkien story. The pic shows us the return of Orlando Bloom as Legolas, along with a new character, Evangeline Lilly’s elf Tauriel.

American Hustle is David O. Russell’s movie based on the true story of Irving Rosenfeld (Christian Bale), a con artist who, along with his lover and accomplice Sydney (Amy Adams), are forced by an FBI agent (Bradley Cooper) to help with his ABSCAM conspiracy case in the 1970s. That ended with a US Senator and five Congressmen were convicted on corruption charges. It’ll be out later this year. [Read more…]

First Hobbit: There & Back Again Image Sees Orlando Bloom Back As Legolas

December 7, 2012 By Tim Isaac Leave a Comment

We’ve had quite a few images from The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, which hits cinemas on December 13th, but now we’re jumping forward to the third film, The Hobbit: There & Back Again, with the first pic from that movie arriving via EW. And it’ll be exciting for all those who swooned over Legolas in Lord Of The Rings, as it shows Orlando Bloom back in Middle Earth for more elf-ness.

As many will know, Legolas isn’t in the book, so what’s he doing in the movie? Peter Jackson says, “He’s [elven king] Thranduil’s son, and Thranduil is one of the characters in The Hobbit, and because elves are immortal it makes sense Legolas would be part of the sequence in the Woodland Realm.” In the pic Legolas is one of the Hobbit trilogy’s new human faces, Laketown warrior Bard the Bowman (Luke Evans).

EW also has a rather cool new Unexpected Journey shot, showing Gandalf meeting the Goblin King (played by Dame Edna herself, Barry Humphries).

Lord Of The Rings – Extended Editions (Blu-ray)

December 1, 2012 By Tim Isaac Leave a Comment

Starring: Elijah Wood, Ian McKellen, Sean Astin, Viggo Mortensen, Orlando Bloom
Director: Peter Jackson
Running Time: 726 mins
Certificate: 12
Release Date: December 3rd 2012

It’s hard to believe that it’s been 11 years since Lord Of The Rings: Fellowship Of The Ring first appeared in cinemas and blew audiences with its incredible depiction of Tolkien’s Middle Earth. Before the first film was released, many had thought New Line was insane spending several hundred million dollars making the three movies back-to-back, especially as at the time fantasy was seen as box office poison.
