With the X-Men: Days Of Future Past shoot approaching fast, director Bryan Singer is busy putting the final touches to the cast. In the last few weeks the news has been mainly about the slew of old X-Men who will be returning to the franchise, such as Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Hugh Jackman, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, and Shawn Ashmore (with Halle Berry likely if a few contract details can be sorted).
Then a few days ago it was revealed Peter Dinklage had joined the movie and now Director Bryan Singer has revealed yet another new cast member, with The Intouchables (Untouchable) star Omar Sy signing on for an unspecified role.
Singer tweeted, ‘Thrilled to welcome the brilliant #OmarSy from the amazing film #TheIntouchables to the cast of #Xmen#DaysofFuturePast!— Bryan Singer’

For a while now people have been wondering if X-Men: Days Of Future Past would feature both the First Class mutants and some from the original X-Men trilogy, due to the fast the comic book story arc it’s based on features time travel.
There was a bit of drama last week when despite the fact the shoot of X-Men: Days Of Future Past is already set to start in January, director Matthew Vaughn stepped down. At the time it was revealed that his most likely replacement was X-Men 1 & 2 helmer Bryan Singer, who up until that point was simply serving as a producer.
