At Comic Con today Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot took to the Hall H to a rapturous reception in order to talk about Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Things went into overdrive when the audience was shown a special teaser, giving them a look at Affleck as Batman, with fans suggesting the footage suggested the the hero is styled very closely to how he looked in Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Rises. There’s no news on whether that teaser will be released outside Comic Con, but Zack Snyder did ensure there was something for those not in San Diego – the first official image of Gal Gadot in full costume as Wonder Woman.
I doubt the outfit will please feminists (indeed there’s a slightly Michael Bay female-fetishism about it), but it does look cool, and hopefully in the film she’ll get to kick ass and we’ll forget she apparently was concerned more about her costume’s sex-appeal than it’s ability to help her do her job.
Take a good look at it above.
Hot Tub Time Machine may not have been a gargantuan hit, but it did well enough that a sequel is on the way. John Cusack isn’t returning, but Rob Corddry, Craig Robinson and Clark Duke are back, with the likes of Adam Scott and Jason Jones joining them.
With the arrival of Comic Con a huge array of new pics and posters have arrived, many of which we’ve already posted. However there are always more and so above we’ve got a new poster for the Daniel Radcliffe movie Horns, along with a banner and the first pics from Hitman: Agent 47 below.
While many have their fingers crossed that the first footage from Avengers: Age Of Ultron will screen at Comic Con, ahead of the Marvel panel a set of great concept art posters has been released.
Edgar Wright may be out and Peyton Reed has come in to replace him, but it’s full steam ahead with Marvel’s Ant-Man. While it’s too early to show off footage at Comic Con, Marvel has taken the opportunity to release a rather cool concept art poster, which gives us our best look yet at the hero in his suit, along with Paul Rudd and Michael Douglas in the background.

It’s perhaps not surprising that the first trailer for the film version of Fifty Shades Of Grey isn’t too hot and heavy, although it certainly hints at all manner of kinkiness. Hopefully we’ll get a red band trailer soon which will show us just what sort of extremes the movie might go to.
Mad Max Fury Road finally started shooting at the end of 2012 after years on delays. We’re now in the summer of 2014 and we still have to wait until May 2015 to see it. However the marketing is kicking into gear with the release of the poster above, ahead to the film’s Comic Con panel on Saturday at 10am in Hall H.
The Fault In Our Stars showed there’s a big market out there for teen-focussed weepies, and If I Stay is hoping capitalise on that when it’s released next month.
