Elizabeth Banks is always a lot of fun, and it certainly seems she’s going to give good value for money in Walk Of Shame. Now the first trailer for the movie has arrived, which stars Banks alongside the likes of James Marsden.
Here’s the synopsis: ‘After losing an audition for her dream job, an aspiring Los Angeles TV news anchor goes out for an uncharacteristic night of partying. She awakes in a stranger’s bed to a phone message from her agent telling her the job is hers, if she can make it across town by 5 pm. Stranded in an unknown area without money, a phone, and a car, she embarks on a series of misadventures as she races to the most important job interview of her life.’
Quite frankly I know a lot of people who wouldn’t care how lost they were if it meant they’d spent the night with James Marsden.

Paul Greengrass has a tendency to sign up for and then leave an awful lot of projects before he actually ends up directing one, so when you hear he’s attached, it’s far from certain he’ll actually end up making the movie. However now he’s circling a new one, as

The Dorian Awards – the gongs given out by GALECA, the Gay & Lesbian Entertainment Critics Association – are becoming an increasingly firm fixture of the awards season, especially as they have categories and tastes that often get ignored by the mainstream award ceremonies.
One more celeb has stepped up to the plate to speak out against Russia’s increasingly strict anti-gay laws. Although the laws are officially just to ban the promotion of ‘non-traditional’ sexual relationships, they have resulted in an increase in anti-gay attacks and over-zealous government official trying to destroy anything pro-gay.
It wouldn’t feel right if no movie starring Adam Sandler got at least one Razzie nomination, so it’s good news that 2014 isn’t bucking the trend, as the nominations for the anti-Oscars have been announced, with Sandler’s Grown Ups 2 scoring nominations in worst picture, sequel, ensemble and screenplay.
