Is Bradley Cooper Really The World’s Sexiest Man? – A Retrospective

November 17, 2011 By Tim Isaac Leave a Comment

Every year People magazine announces who they think if the Sexiest Man Aive, and the recipient of that accolade for 2011 has just been revealed as Bradley Cooper, who follows in the footsteps of the likes of George Clooney, Johnny Depp and last year’s winner, Ryan Reynolds. It’s been a slightly controversial choice, as some disagree that he’s the hottest guy around – many feel Ryan Gosling was robbed – and so we decided to put together this Bradley Cooper photo retrospective so we can decide for ourselves just how hot he is!

He’s an odd one really, as sometimes he looks cutely nerdy and geeky, and then when the camera catches him from certain angle, he’s truly classically beautiful. It doesn’t hurt either that he looks good with his top off (as he has to prove in pretty much every movie he’s in).

But without further ado, click the images below to enlarge them and enjoy the career of Bradley Cooper, from Wet Hot American Summer (where he played gay) to Limitless, via Alias, Midnight Meat Train and, of course, The Hangover. [Read more…]

New Pixar’s Brave Trailer

November 16, 2011 By Tim Isaac Leave a Comment

If one thing is certain in life, it’s that Pixar movies always look stunningly gorgeous, and it certainly seems Brave will follow suit. We got a teaser a couple of months ago, but now Disney has released a full trailer for the movie. Here’s the synopsis: ‘A grand adventure full of heart, memorable characters and signature Pixar humor, “Brave” uncovers a new tale in the mysterious Highlands of Scotland where the impetuous Merida (voice of Kelly Macdonald) defies an age-old custom and inadvertently unleashes chaos, forcing her to discover the meaning of true bravery before it’s too late.’ The film is due to hit UK cinemas August 17th, 2012.

Titanic 3D Trailer

November 16, 2011 By Tim Isaac Leave a Comment

To watch this video, you need the latest Flash-Player and active javascript in your browser.

They promised its heart would go on and on, and now it’s holding to that, as Titanic arrives back in UK cinemas on April 15th, 2012 – the 100th anniversary of the sinking – but this time converted into three-dimensions.Now the trailer for the 3D re-release is here, but sadly on the interweb, it’s rather flat, so we don’t really get to appreciated whether the extra dimension helps things or not! Oh, and take a look at the new poster below.

Toy Story Toons ‘Small Fry’ Teaser

November 14, 2011 By Tim Isaac Leave a Comment

On Friday we posted the first pic from the upcoming Toy Story toon that’ll be attached to The Muppets, ‘Small Fry’. Now a second image and a 30 second teaser clip have arrived, which you can see above and below. It’s just proof of how special Toy Story is that a new short featuring the characters can generate so much interest! In the short, Buzz Lightyear is left behind at a fast food restaurant when a kids’ meal toy version of Buzz takes his place. While Bonnie’s toys are stuck with the annoying three-inch-tall Buzz impersonator, the real Buzz is trapped in the restaurant at a support group for discarded toys. As Woody and the gang devise a way to rescue their friend, Buzz tries to escape the toy psychotherapy meeting. We’ll get to see ‘Small Fry’ when it plays in front of The Muppets when it arrives in the UK on February 10th next year.

The Hunger Games Trailer

November 14, 2011 By Tim Isaac Leave a Comment

They’re certainly hyping up The Hunger Games, in the hopes it will take over from Twilight as the top young adult franchise around. Now the first full trailer for the movie has arrives, which certainly make the movie look intriguing and that it may hold interest for those a little older than the target audience. Jennifer Lawrence i heads a cast that also includes Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks and Stanley Tucci, to tell the tale of a future society where the US has broken down into separate factions, and the nation of Panem forces each of its twelve districts to send a teenage boy and girl to compete in The Hunger Games. Part twisted entertainment, part government intimidation tactic, The Hunger Games are a nationally televised event in which ‘Tributes’ must fight with one another until one survivor remains. Katniss Everdeen (Lawrence), is representing District 12, replacing her chosen younger sister. The film arrives in cinemas March 23rd, 2012.

The Rum Diary (Cinema)

November 10, 2011 By Tim Isaac Leave a Comment

Starring: Johnny Depp, Amber Heard, Richard Jenkins, Giovanni Ribisi
Director: Bruce Robinson
Running Time: 120 mins
Certificate: 15
Release Date: November 11th, 2011

On paper, The Rum Diary sounds like a sure-fire winner, but in practice it’s slightly more problematic than that. The film sees Johnny Depp returning to the work of Hunter S. Thompson and again playing the kind of Thompson alter-ego that he did so well in Fear & Loathing In Las Vegas. Depp has been intimately involved with the movie, to the point where he was the one who told Thompson to publish it, as the writer had stuffed it in a drawer since the early 60s and never let anyone see it. Depp and Thompson were casting around for something else they could film after Fear & Loathing, and came across The Rum Diary, which was duly published and is Hunter’s only proper novel. The Kid From Jerry Maguire Goes Homoerotic

November 9, 2011 By Tim Isaac Leave a Comment

Jonathan Lipnicki Workout2Ever felt like a paedophile? Well, you will after looking at this! The images above and in the gallery below are all of Jonathan Lipnicki, the kid who was vomit-inducingly cute when he lisped his way through Jerry Maguire at the age of six, and followed it up with the likes of Stuart Little and The Little Vampire.

Now he’s 21-years-old and trying to build a career as a grown up actor, and here he seems to be trying to get himself a bit of a gay fanbase with some ridiculously homoerotic wrestling shots (or is this some for of extreme coming out?). So take a look at the hotness below and we’ve also included a pic of Lipnicki in Jerry Maguire at the end, just so you feel horribly perverse and need to bleach your eyes. (Cheers to BeautyAndTheDirt for the tip) [Read more…]
