Back in 2012 JJ Abrams revealed he was working on a movie called God Particle, with Julius Onah set to direct. After that, new about the film went pretty quiet, but things are picking up again, as Variety reports that John Krasinski is circling the movie.
He would join the recently cast David Oyelowo and Gugu Mbatha-Raw in the movie, which ‘centers on a team of astronauts who make a terrifying discovery that challenges everything they know about the fabric of reality, as they desperately fight for survival.’ Oren Uziel (The Kitchen Sink) wrote the script.
Onah is still set to direct the movie, which will start shooting in the next few months. It’s currently set for release February 2017.

Bound & Thrashed may not be the most polished film we’ve ever featured, but it certainly raises some interesting questions and at times is pretty sexy. It explores what happens when a young man is asked to push his sexual boundaries by becoming the dominant in some S&M play, something he’s not initially comfortable with, as well as questioning what it is to be a man.
In case there was anyone who wasn’t aware that the upcoming Fantastic Beasts & Where To Find Them is a Harry Potter spin-off, this new trailer absolutely underlines the fact, as well as letting us know it’s a brand new story. There’s mention of Albus Dumbledore, muggles and Hogwarts, as well as the iconic Potter musical theme, but also a setting that’s clearly the America of the past.
The new trailer for Suicide Squad is keen to show that this is going to be a rather different kind of comic book movie, and that it’s not going to just pay lip service to the fact the heroes are actually a bunch of villains. It does look like it could be fund though, and may actually end up helping sell an interconnected DC Comics film universe more than the mixed reaction to Batman v Superman.
Turtle Power is returning this summer with the release of New Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, which follows up the unexpectedly successful live-action movie from a couple of years ago. It also introduces a few more characters from the comics and TV series, such as Casey Jones (Stephen Amell) and villains Krang, Bebop and Rocksteady.
The MTV Movie Awards offered the chance to get our first peak at a couple of highly anticipated new movie, most notably Kong: Skull Island and Luce Besson’s Valerian & The City Of A Thousand Planets.
It’s just over a month until the Apocalypse! Well, until X-Men: Apocalypse anyway, and in anticipation, 20th Century Fox has released a set of character banners mutants old and new. You can take a look at them below.
For the past few years Scott Eastwood has seemed on the verge of making it big, but while he’s often been in the mix for major roles, he’s often failed to make the final cut. For example he will be seen in a small role in this summer’s Suicide Squad, but be missed out on several other massive Marvel and DC roles he was up for.
