Bryan Singer has been keen to share pics from the set of X-Men: Days Of Future Past, and the latest is James McAvoy, who’s shown in his wheelchair. It’s also a bit of a kick in the teeth to bald-headed Patrick Stewart, as McAvoy’s looks for the early 70s part of the movie shows him with flowing counterculture locks.
Bryan Singer is directing from a screenplay by Simon Kinberg, based on a 1980s comic book arc by Chris Claremont and John Byrne. In the comics, the mutants are being hunted and locked up in internment camps by Sentinels in an alternate future, after an important Senator is murdered by the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants.
The film is due to hit cinemas July 18th, 2014.

X-Men: Days of Future Past is going to see a major uniting of X-Men, with the First Class cast starring alongside Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, Juno Temple, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen and more. And now one more mutant from the earlier trilogy can be added to the mix, Nightcrawler, as played by queer actor Alan Cumming.

A remake of The Crow has been in the works for years, with the likes of Mark Wahlberg, Bradley Cooper and Channing Tatum all talked about to star at various points. However we haven’t heard much about it for the last few months, but the project isn’t dead, as
It looks like Danny Boyle’s Trance is going to be a lot more gory than you might expect, especially if you know the premise, which sounds like a pretty standard thriller. However this new Red Band trailer shows us we’re going inside James McAvoy’s mind for some strange sights, where not even having half his head blown off can stop Vincent Cassel’s character.

Trance has had a slightly unusual production process, as it was shot during late 2011, but then director Danny Boyle had to go off and put together the Olympics Opening Ceremony, and so the editing and other post production was put on hold until the summer festivities were over.
