Ever since Trainspotting debuted in 1996 there’s been talk of a sequel, with Ewan McGregor, director Danny Boyle keeping the hope alive by suggesting it may happen one day, but it would have to wait for the right time. Well, that time is now, as Sony Pictures UK has released a teaser for T2.

Once married to Angelina Jolie (yes, really), who he met on the set of Hackers, the British actor has since starred in the likes of Plunkett & Macleane, Aeon Flux, Mansfield Park and more recently the US TV shows Eli Stone and Dexter.
