The Predator Trailer – The alien hunter is back & just as deadly

September 5, 2018 By Tim Isaac Leave a Comment

There have been a couple of attempts to reinvigorate the Predator franchise, whether it’s been getting them to battle Aliens or taking us to their planet in Robert Rodriguez’s Predators. Fox finally seemed to have given up on it, until Iron Man 3’s Shane Black rocked up with a new idea and suddenly, The Predator was in the works.

Here’s the synopsis: ‘From the outer reaches of space to the small-town streets of suburbia, the hunt comes home in Shane Black’s explosive reinvention of the Predator series. Now, the universe’s most lethal hunters are stronger, smarter and deadlier than ever before, having genetically upgraded themselves with DNA from other species. When a young boy accidentally triggers their return to Earth, only a ragtag crew of ex-soldiers and a disgruntled science teacher can prevent the end of the human race.’

Black wrote the script and also directs, with Boyd Holbrook, Trevante Rhodes, Jacob Tremblay, Keegan-Michael Key, Olivia Munn, Sterling K. Brown, Alfie Allen, Thomas Jane, Augusto Aguilera, Jake Busey, and Yvonne Strahovski starring. The film will be in cinemas on September 12th. Take a look at the lastest trailer below. [Read more…]

Keanu Red-Band Trailer – Rescuing a kitten gets complicated for Key & Peele

January 24, 2016 By Tim Isaac Leave a Comment

keanu-key-and-peeleYou wouldn’t think getting back your lost kitten would be that difficult, but it gets extrememly complicated for Jordan Peele and Keegan-Michael Key, as you can see in the red-band trailer for their new movie, Keanu, below.

Here’s the synopsis: ‘Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele, a.k.a. the hugely popular U.S. comedy duo Key & Peele, star as Clarence and Rell, two cousins who live in the city but are far from streetwise.  When Rell’s beloved kitten, Keanu, is catnapped, the hopelessly straight-laced pair must impersonate ruthless killers in order to infiltrate a street gang and retrieve the purloined feline.  But the incredibly adorable kitten becomes so coveted that the fight over his custody creates a gang war, forcing our two unwitting heroes to take the law into their own hands.’

Although the trailer makes it look like it’ll be a typical, if potentially pretty funny comedy, there’ll be plenty hoping that it can also offer the same sort of pithy insight as their TV show, the eponymous Key & Peele, often managed. It’ll be in cinemas later this year.
