Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes surprised many when it turned out to be a pretty good origin story. Then the franchise really upped the game with the excellent Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes. That means the next instalment, War Of The Planet Of The Apes, has a lot to live up to. And from the evidence of this new trailer, it might be a rather dark tale.

Not the trailer has arrived, which starts off suggesting this will be a quirky family drama, before veering into surprisingly dark thriller territory.
