A great new poster has debuted for Daniel Radcliffe’s first post-Harry Potter venture, The Woman In Black. It’s not too long until the movie hits cinemas on February 10th, with Radcliffe as young lawyer Arthur Kipps (Daniel Radcliffe), who travels to a remote village to attend to the affairs of the recently deceased owner of Eel Marsh House. Working alone in the old mansion, Kipps begins to uncover the town’s tragic and tortured secrets and his fears escalate when he discovers that local children have been disappearing under mysterious circumstances. When those closest to him become threatened by the vengeful woman in black, Kipps must find a way to break the cycle of terror.

After the great new trailer for Dark Knight Rises hit earlier this week, Warner has released four new images from the movie for us to pore over. The images give us a closer look at Bane’s breathing apparatus, which apparently feed him painkillers so that he isn’t killed by the pain of previous injuries, as well as Batman’s new light-fronted gun. The movie hits cinemas in July, 2012.

Disney has made animated movies out of nearly all the classic fairy tales, but one of the few remaining ones is The Snow Queen. For over a decade the studio has been thinking about making a film of the story, with the project cancelled and reanimated numerous times. Last we heard (back in March 2010), they’d taken it off the table, but now it appears it back on, has been given the title Frozen and will hit cinemas November 2013.

Initially there was some confusing over whether Frozen was the title for Pixar’s planned dinosaur movie, which had been given that release date. However it now appears the dinos are moving to another date and The Snow Queen is in. Bleeding Cool is reporting that the movie will be handdrawn, although this hasn’t been confirmed.

The Snow Queen will be based on Hans Christian Andersen’s lengthy tale about a girl who travels to see the icy title character, in the hope of helping her friend whose heart has become frozen. It’s a great story but may have stumped Disney so far because the original is a strongly Christian allegory, in a way that might seem jarring in a modern mainstream movie.

Last year we had The Other Guys and now it seems we’re getting the B Team, although while the former was about cops, this new movie follows spies who aren’t normally on the frontline. Variety reports that Seth Rogen has signed on to produce and possibly star in the movie for Walt Disney Pictures.

The project has been in development at Disney since July 2008 when the studio acquired a pitch from writers Derek Guiley and David Schneiderman. The story centres on a spy who is captured, and must rely on his tech support and research team to rescue him, even though they’re not used to being so important.

Seth Rogen has executive produced several of his starring vehicles, including Knocked Up, Superbad, Pineapple Express, Funny People, The Green Hornet, and his upcoming comedy My Mother’s Curse. It isn’t known when The B Team might film.

Just over a week ago, it was reported that the producers of the upcoming adaptation of the young adult novel Ender’s Game wanted Harrison Ford to be in the movie. At the time it wasn’t clear whether the actor was interested, but now Variety reports Ford, Abigail Breslin, and Hailee Steinfeld have all been confirmed to star in the film for director Gavin Hood.

Harrison Ford will portray Colonel Hyram Graff, who oversees a military facility where gifted youngsters are trained to prevent an imminent alien attack. Abigail Breslin is playing Valentine Wiggin, the older sister to Ender (Hugo star Asa Butterfield), while Hailee Steinfeld is set to be Ender’s ally ,Petra Arkanian. Aramis Knight, Moises Arias, Jimmy Pinchak, Suraj Partha, Conor Carroll, and Khylin Rhambo have also joined the cast and will play other kids at the school.

Gavin Hood will direct Ender’s Game from his own screenplay, which is adapted from the Orson Scott Card novel. Production is scheduled to begin early next year in New Orleans for release March 2013.
