There’s been plenty of reaction to Wentworth Miller coming out while making a statement against Russia anti-gay laws, and one of those who’s decided to congratulate him is White Collar and Magic Mike star Matthew Bomer.
Bomer chatted with E! at New York’s Heineken U.S. Open kickoff, who said of Wentworth, “Wow, I think its really bold and incredibly classy how he came out and did it. I am really proud of him. Its very reflective of his amazing character.”
Rather than concentrating on Russia, Bomer took the opportunity reflect on the progress being made on gay rights in the US, with new laws being passed giving gay people more equality in various parts of the US. He says, “I hope all these laws continue to pass but we still have a long way to go.”
