Paul Haggis won an Oscar for his multi-stranded tale Crash (although many people think he shouldn’t have). Now he’s back in ensemble movie mode for Third Person, which tells three stories set in Rome, Paris, and New York, set at different times in couples’ relationships.
The star-studded cast includes James Franco, Mila Kunis, Olivia Wilde, Liam Neeson, Kim Basinger, Adrien Brody, Maria Bello and Moran Atias.
Neeson plays a man who leaves his wife to go live with the much younger Olivia Wilde, Franco and Kunis are a former couple who can’t stop warring over custody of their son, while Adrien Brody is involved with a woman whose child has ended up in the hands of people traffickers.
It’s certainly sounds like there’s plenty of drama (and Crash haters will probably already be cringing). The movie hits the US in June, but it’s not clear when it will come to the UK.
