While Paul Greengrass signing up for a movie is far different from him actually directing it (he has a tendency to pick up and leave movies behind), he’s recently agreed to helm The Tunnels, based on an upcoming book by Greg Mitchell.
Many of the films hoping for Oscar nominations are already busy jostling for position, but now we get one that may be up for BAFTAs next year, but without a confirmed 2014 US release set, may not be up for the Oscars. The film is Suite Francaise, which has just released its first trailer.
The first two Chapters of Insidious took us into the creepy world of The Further through the story of the Lamberts and their the supernatural’s interest in them and their son. Now it’s prequel time, showing us how Lin Shaye’s Elise came to known about The Further, which came in handy in the earlier movie.
