The TV shows that are hoping get picked up next year are starting to line up, and that includes Rebel Law, which brings together a creative team including EastSiders co-creator Kit Williamson, former Royal Pains showrunner Michael Rauch, along with Lisa Kudrow and Dan Bucatinsky.
Kit Williamson has also been writing the pilot, according to Deadline, which ‘centers on an openly gay attorney who returns home to Mississippi to join his family’s multi-generational law practice where they work through their personal and political differences both inside and outside the courtroom’.
Williamson, who married John Halbach earlier this year, is, of course, also an actor, known for the likes of Eastsiders and Mad Men. I think it’s safe to say that he wasn’t being 100% serious, but Tom Hanks has said he’s very happy with the idea of remaking Splash, and if they do, he should appear in it and play Channing Tatum’s boyfriend. It was revealed back in August that
