It was more or less a formality that after introducing the character in Arrow and a year of planning, The Flash would get a series order by The CW in the US.
That’s now happened and in its wake comes the first poster, featuring Grant Gustin in costume.
Gustin popped up as Barry Allen in a couple of early episodes of the current season of Arrow, but he won’t don the famed red costume in the pilot of The Flash, which is due to start airing this Autumn. He may have already had the accident that gave him powers in Arrow, but he apparently won’t get superheroic until he has his own series.
Before now Gustin was best known as Glee’s Sebastian, who tried to steal Blane from Kurt.
