Chris Evans, Samuel L. Jackson, and Sebastian Stan are all set to return to the world of Captain America for The Winter Soldier, and now it appears at least one more actor from the first film will be back.
The Girl and Hunger Games star Toby Jones has said that he’s like to return to his role as Armin Zola, very briefly telling HeyUGuys, “It looks like I will be (returning), yeah.”
Unfortunately there’s no news on how he will fit into the plot. It will be interesting to see, as this adventure is set in the modern day, so either Zola is going to be very old or we’ll be getting some sort of flashback to the World War II setting on the first movie.
Avengers stars Scarlett Johansson and Cobie Smulders are also likely to return as The Black Widow and S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Maria Hill in The Winter Soldier. Anthony Mackie and Frank Grillo are new additions to the cast, portraying Falcon and Crossbones.
