Jennifer Lopez seems to have accepted she’s not 21 anymore (it took her a while), as she’s turning cougar for The Boy Next Door, although it looks like this might be a bit of a cautionary tale about underestimating the obsessions of youth.
The film is about a woman (Lopez) who’s separated from her husband and becomes attracted to the teenage boy who moves in next door (Step Up’s Ryan Guzman), even though the young new neighbour becomes friends with her son. After briefly striking up a romance with the boy, she breaks it off abruptly, only to realise how obsessed he has become with her.
