If all had been as we were first promised, we’d have been watching Sin City: A Dame To Kill For on 2006. But for various reasons the film was delayed, to the point where many had given up hope. Now it’s coming and we’ve got the first full trailer.
The sequel features the return of Sin City stars Mickey Rourke, Jessica Alba, Bruce Willis and Rosario Dawson, along with newcomers such as Jamie Chung, Alexa Vega, Lady Gaga, Josh Brolin (taking over Clive Owen’s role), Ray Liotta, Marton Csokas, Eva Green and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
Here’s the synopsis: ‘Co-directors Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller reunite to bring Miller’s visually stunning “Sin City” graphic novels back to the screen in SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR. Weaving together two of Miller’s classic stories with new tales, the town’s most hard boiled citizens cross paths with some of its more reviled inhabitants. SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR is the follow up to Rodriguez and Miller’s 2005 groundbreaking film, FRANK MILLER’S SIN CITY.’
It’s out in the US on August 22nd and in the UK on August 29th. [Read more…]
