He may not have had much luck with Green Lantern this year, but director Martin Campbell isn’t letting that get him down, as Deadline reports that he’s in early discussions to direct a film version of the the 1980s TV show, The Fall Guy.
It’s almost surprisingly this one hasn’t been up for a do-over before really, considering Hollywood’s love of turning pretty much every show from the 70s and 80s inro a movie. The Fall Guy originally ran from 1981 to 1986 and starred Lee Majors as a Hollywood stuntman who moonlights as a bounty hunter. It’s a fairly basic set-up, but hopefully they’ll be able to make something worthwhile out of it (don’t hold your breath though).
