It seems Michael Bay has decided the bots in his previous Transformers films simply weren’t big enough, as both the recent trailer and this new poster have tried to sell us on some truly huge machines.
It certainly seems to be causing a few problems for Mark Wahlberg.
With a complete change of human cast, Mark Wahlberg will play Cade, the father of Nicol Peltz’s Tessa. Jack Reynor meanwhile is Tessa’s boyfriend, Shane. Stanley Tucci, Kelsey Grammer, Sophia Myles and Bingbing Li also star, with Michael Bay once more directing.
The movie will be out in cinemas in late June in the US and early July in the UK.
Shortly after Magic Mike became a surprise hit, Channing Tatum started talking about making a sequel, and at one point it was even suggested it could have been his directorial debut. However its only now that the movie is ready to move forward, and Tatum won’t be at the helm.

Just a couple of days after it was suggested Attack The Block’s John Boyega was in contention to play Miles Dyson’s son in Terminator: Genesis, it turns out the role has been snapped up by someone else, as The Hunger Games star Dayo Okeniyi will take the role.
