It’s gonna be a Bridesmaids reunion, as TheWrap reports that Rose Byrne is in talks to reteam with Melissa McCarthy and director Paul Feig for the action comedy Susan Cooper. No deal has been made yet, but it’s all expected to come together.
The film has been described as a James Bond-inspired spy comedy, but with a female lead. While Feig is known for broad comedy, Susan Cooper isn’t a parody, but is instead said to be a realistic comedy, which is heavily influenced by Martin Campbell’s Casino Royale.
The film is said to centre on two lead characters, McCarthy will be the title character, although it’s not known what Bryne’s will be called in the film. Jason Statham is said to be circling the project as well.
Susan Cooper is being set up as a potential franchise. It won’t shoot for a while yet though, as cameras aren’t set to roll until McCarthy has completed the latest season of Mike & Molly.
They like to keep a few years between Night At The Museum movies. As there was three years between 2006’s first film and the 2004 sequel, and now a third film is on the way, due in cinemas Christmas 2014.
The cast of Jurassic World is starting to come together, and now one more name is in the mix, as Josh Brolin is in early talks to join the movie, according to

The first images from Mr. Peabody & Sherman have arrived, giving us a look at DreamWorks Animation’s take on the classic 1950s animated series. Along with the pics, comes a little commentary from director Rob Minkoff, via USA Today.
One big update from the original — Mr. Peabody drives a scooter with a sidecar. Director Rob Minkoff says the discussion of the right vehicle for the talking dog was a long one. “This scooter just sort of fit his personality.”
